In 1999, Chad Kroeker began his career as an IT professional for a large Oil & Gas firm in Calgary, Alberta. In his downtime, he used his unique blend of creative talent and technical expertise allowed him to design logos, brochures and web sites for friends and family. He dreamed that one day he could turn his passion into a full-time job.
After receiving a formal education in web technology and print marketing in 2001, Chad landed his first industry job with Blackfoot Motosports – the largest motorcycle dealership in Canada – and a client who ClearMotive continues to work with today.
Chad’s first job was to redesign Blackfoot’s web site from start to finish. The old site didn’t attract much attention at all, and within a year, the new site was seeing over 5 million hits a month.
In the following years, Blackfoot provided Chad with the opportunities to learn marketing on many different levels. From designing their 53 foot Race Team Transporters, to producing signage, TV and radio campaigns, point-of-purchase materials and large outdoor billboards, this was an opportunity that propelled him into a life of marketing.
In 2005, Chad began attracting the attention of large national brands and he saw the opportunity to branch out on his own. He founded ClearMotive and hasn’t looked back.
Nowadays, clients look to Chad for creative oversight, strategy, and real-world experience. Creative without strategy is just art; creative with strategy is called advertising. Through his involvement in several local businesses, Tyler’s goal-oriented, results-driven approach has created a small army of impressed clients. It’s this same approach that’s lead to his success at ClearMotive.
In 2004, Tyler started Bodyprint – a complete approach to fitness and nutrition. His business took off, and he found himself needing marketing materials and a website – so he turned to his friend, Chad Kroeker.
The two successfully build the Bodyprint website, and during their collaboration, realized something: Tyler’s success and experience in growing and managing businesses was the perfect compliment to Chad’s creative strategy. Tyler joined ClearMotive as the partner to manage business and staff development, finances and the “business” side of business.
Today, Tyler’s business sense drives ClearMotive’s growth strategies. Tyler uses his expertise to advise ClearMotive’s clients, and help create successful marketing initiatives.
Focus: Web Development, eCommerce integration, Web maintenance, programming and business solutions
Everyone knows someone who has a knack for figuring things out – and for us, Steve’s “that guy.”
Our first full-time employee, Steve now manages the web development arm of ClearMotive. In this role, he oversees programming, optimization, eCommerce solutions, video and application integration, and content management.
A critical part of Steve’s job is keeping up with web trends. To do so, Steve performs extensive research into new and burgeoning technologies and uses his findings to figure out the next big opportunity for our clients.
Focus: Print Design, Point-of-purchase, Retail displays, Media Planning and Management
As ClearMotive’s project manager, Jeff draws on his wealth of experience with all-things advertising, including in-store promotions, national campaigns, media buying, print materials and POP merchandise.
From start to finish, Jeff ensures that all projects are planned and scheduled appropriately. He is also responsible for helping to convey creative vision and client needs to the rest of the team. With his help, our clients receive superior service, and projects that are delivered on-time and on-budget.
Focus: Interactive Planning and Graphic Design, Art Direction and Motion Graphics
As ClearMotive’s art director, Daniel is responsible for bringing a client’s creative vision to life. With significant experience in interactive marketing, Daniel uses his skills to design user-friendly websites. He also significantly contributes to strategy, information architecture and planning.
Daniel’s skill set is especially unique because he doesn’t just focus on the artistic side of design – he also addresses the business case. This means that clients can count on Daniel for projects that are aesthetically pleasing while meeting all goals and objectives.
Focus: Resource Scheduling, Business Analytics, Process Development and Project Management
With a strong background in business analytics and project management, Souk manages our internal team resource scheduling as well as coordinating and providing solutions for all client projects. In this role, he consults with clients, our creative and technical team to determine project vision, scope and requirements.
Over his 8 years in the technology industry, Souk has served as a project lead and business analyst. He excels in aligning client objectives with functional processes. ClearMotive relies on him to streamline our workflow and coordinate projects from initiation through completion.
